• Douglas Chai Eng Chuan (“Douglas”) is the founder of Douglas Chai Chambers. He received his Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours from the University of London, and subsequently obtained his Certificate of Legal Practice. Douglas was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003.
• His practice areas focus on Civil and Commercial Litigation, Employment Law (Trade Disputes, Law of Dismissals and Re-organisation & Retrenchment), Administrative Law, Probate and Administration of Estates, Family Law, Real Property and Insurance. He has conducted trials and hearings in Industrial Courts, Subordinate Courts and the High Courts as well as Appeals in the Appellate courts such as the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
